Fishing
Tobin Lake

Tobin Lake was created by the flooding of the EB Cambell Hydro-electric station in 1961-62. Since then the lake has become
famous for its fishing and recreational potential.

Tobin Lake is located 25 km from Nipawin on highway #255.

There are numerous campsites, docks and resorts located along
the shores. As well, the fishing is spectacular with large Northern Pike abundant as well as Walleye.

Tobin Lake is home to the Pike Festival, a fishing tournament which sees world class competitors and record taking fish caught.

Codette Lake

Codette Lake was also formed by the flooding of a hydro-electric project, the Francais-Finlay dam in 1986.

It too is located close to Nipawin and offers some of the best Walleye fishing in the province.

Codette Lake hosts the Premiers Walleye Cup, a fishing tournament that attracts anglers from around Canada and the United States.
