This park is located 15 km N/E of Arborfield, Sask. on Highway #23 (10 km south of Carrot River, Sask.).
It is primarily a summer recreation area overlooking a scenic valley where wildlife is often seen.
The park is surrounded by poplar woods and wild berry bushes. The Paleontological Site located within the park has been designated as a Provincial Heritage Site and is a must to see for all visitors.
There are many interesting and challenging hiking trails that take you along the beautiful Carrot River, to its fossil sites and allow you to see some breathtaking scenery and wildlife.
