YBEX - Sample Financials
Sample Cash Flow:
A "Cash Flow" shows what you will require for your fiscal year. Some months your expenses and income will be higher than other months. If you are a retail business you may have more sales before school starts in August or you may have more business in November and December for Christmas. Your higher expense would probably occur a few months earlier when you purchase your stock to have on hand for the busier seasons. If you have an ice cream parlour, you will have more business in the summer than in the winter. The Cash Flow documents when you require your highest amount of cash. (It does not match your Income and Expense Statement because your cash flow will also include "capital asset" and inventory purchases. These are part of the Balance Sheet).
