The Village of White Fox is located in an area where various outdoor recreational opportunities are at a premium. In the spring, the Torch River which is situated 9.6km north of White Fox, provides a scenic and challenging experience. In the summer the resorts of Carrol's Cove and Pruden's Point (10 km and 13 km northeast of our Village) offer camping facilities, excellent fishing opportunities,water skiing, and cabin rentals. If hunting is your specialty there are numerous outfitters who will guide you to just the right location. Many of these outfitters provide lodging and meals. For the winter months, cross-country ski trails are a favorite as are many snowmobile trails including the provincially sponsored Trail Blazers trail which passes right along the village boundary.

There is one gas station that offers confectionery items, as well as fully stocked grocery store and a quality meat store. Give our restaurant a try. Stop in and see the hand-crafted oak furniture store where you can pick up a piece of locally crafted furniture.

The resorts of Carrol's Cove and Pruden's Point both sponsor fish derby's. They are excellent fishing spots for both the summer and winter months. You can try the relaxed atmosphere of Lidster's Wilderness Retreat that is located just 9 km from White Fox. Also there are many specialty farms in the area that raise everything
from Fallow Deer and Highlander cattle to Buffalo and Elk.

It is quite obvious that White Fox and its surrounding area offers many interesting and diverse attractions.
