Weldon Village is a bit like the mythical Town of Lake Wobegon brought to life. This parkland community of the farm belt is located 2 kms north of Highway #3 and 20 kms south of the Weldon ferry linking it to Highway #302.

Weldon has modern amenities and services. Its population of approximately 250 enjoys a quiet, relaxed lifestyle reminiscent of another era when their Norwegian forebearers first established the community.

The village has seniors club, a winter recreation centre for skating, hockey, and curling, an auditorium/gymnasium complex, a public library, a furnished summer sports field and worship centres for three denominations; all of this in a community of old growth tree-lined streets that link people to the natural beauty around them.
