The Village of Pleasantdale is located along Highway #3 about 40
kms south of Melfort, Saskatchewan. Kipabiskau Lake, located just
east of the village, has excellent swimming, fishing and boating.
St. Brieux Regional Park is also just a short drive west. They have
a golf course as well as swimming, fishing, boating and other lake
activities.
An active Community Association and Seniors Club are just two of
the groups that help keep the community active and alive. Also, there
is the Royal Canadian Legion, Naiverdale Wildlife Association,
and an "AA" group. Minor sports include figure skating,
gymnastics, and dance.
Businesses include a general store, garage, hotel, construction,
and trucking companies, and a seed cleaning plant.
Also, there is a homecoming every Five years!
