Financial
Assistance
• Interest rate set at Bank of Montreal Prime + 3% locked in for five years.
•Lending
maximum of $150,000 per business; loan application fee of $50.00
•One to
five year terms available or up to ten years for land and building.
•Self-Employment
Program for people on Employment Insurance or who have been in
the last three years and are currently unemployed.
•Loans,
loan guarantees and equity investment.
•Alternative
financing for businesses who are unable to obtain suitable assistance
elsewhere.
•Various
other Loan Funds are available.
•Interest
rates are locked in for the term of the loan to ensure the client
is not vulnerable to higher interest rates.
Youth
Loan Fund
• Available to entrepreneurs between the ages of 18 and 29.
•Loans,
loan guarantees or equity investments available.
•Interest
rate set at Bank of Montreal Prime + 3% locked in for the term
of the loan.
•One to
five year terms available.
•Loans
available up to $25,000 per youth entrepreneur.
•Loans,
loan guarantees or equity investments.
•Interest
rates are locked in for the term of the loan to ensure the client
is not vulnerable to higher interest rates.
Disability
Loan Fund
• Available to assist entrepreneurs with disabilities in establishing or
expanding their own businesses.
•Interest
rate set at Bank of Montreal Prime + 3% locked in for the term
of the loan.
•One to
five year terms available.
•Lending
maximum of $150,000 per business.
•Interest
rates are locked in for the term of the loan to ensure the client
is not vulnerable to higher interest rates.
Small
Business Loans Association
• Available to clients whose communities do not have an SBLA or funds to
lend.
•Loans
available for the purchase of capital assets up to a maximum of
$15,000.
•Interest rate of
6% per year.
