Village of Englefeld
Zone 6The Village of Englefeld is a thriving community with a population of 219. The school has Kindergarten to Grade 10, grades 11 and 12 are bused to Watson which is 8 kms away. The village is comprised of numerous businesses including service stations, hotel, motel with restaurant, grocery store, craft store, Credit Union, bus stop, insurance agent, motor license issuer and two manufacturers.
Schulte Industries manufactures grass mowers, rock pickers, rock rakes and snowplows. Koenders Mfg. Co. Ltd. builds windmills, livestock feeders, fans, leaf-cutter bee huts, feed carts, and five different types of sleds and swath rollers.
Recreational facilities include a skating rink, curling rink, bowling alley, softball diamonds, and playgrounds. Service clubs include Knights of Columbus, Catholic Women's League, and a recreation board.
