Located approximately 25 miles from Tisdale and Porcupine Plain,
15 minutes from Marean and Barrier Lakes, and a 30 minute drive from Greenwater Lake Provincial Park, you will find Bjorkdale.

Bjorkdale and area residents are fun loving and hard working people who enjoy their community. Hockey, curling, football, minor ball,
old time dancing, and hunting are just a few of the activities that
are enjoyed. The Lions' Club is very active with projects that improve the community. During the year, there is a Ski-doo Rally, Curling Bonspiel, Summer Fair, Christmas Supper, and a Fathers Day Brunch.

Play school starts youngsters early in education. Bjorkdale School has grades K to 12 with 150 student enrolled. Students are especially active in sports.

Bjorkdale is home to Popp's Auction Centre, Bethels' Service (garage and restaurant), two grocery stores, a liquor store, Credit Union, Sask Wheat Pool Elevator, a Family Video store, and the Bjorkdale Hotel.

The Community takes pride in showing guests all the exotic animals that our rural entrepreneurs have to offer. They include buffalo, llama, long-horn cattle, khatadin sheep, and elk.
