Located 9 miles East of the Highway 35 turnoff, 6 miles South of
Codette, Saskatchewan. You are welcome to stop at the Senior Citizens'
drop-in centre for coffee, both morning and afternoon. Here you can
visit with the citizens or be provided with information about the
area.
The small village has a Post Office, Aylsham Machine and Welding
(an excellent welding shop), Aylsham Inn (provides great meals and
has a bar), and also a Complex which houses a Community Hall, Skating
Rink, Curling Rink and Village Office.
Only Nine miles from beautiful Pasquia Regional Park where there
is golfing, swimming, a picnic area, and camping. It is a wonderful
destination for a weekend or a week of holidays.
Aylsham is located in the heart of the Carrot River Valley, surrounded
by rich farmland. The Carlea Dehydrating Alfalfa Plant is located
5 miles west and 2 miles south of Aylsham. The plant produces products
that are shipped to Japan and European markets.
Aylsham, Saskatchewan received its name from some early settlers
in the area who came from Aylsham, England.
